Renowned former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has commented on the controversy surrounding Mohamed Salah's recent statements. Earlier, Salah spoke about the conflict with the club's management and head coach Arne Slot, noting that he was deeply offended by being left on the bench for three consecutive matches. According to him, there is a tendency to blame him for the team's unsuccessful performances.

"You're going to the Africa Cup of Nations in a week. I think you'll find peace there and enjoy protecting where you walk. We'll see what happens here when you come back in time. But for now, stability and calmness are very necessary for the team."
