Safonov and Zabarnyi in PSG squad, Chevalier absent

The press service of France's "PSG" club has announced the squad for the sixth round match of the UEFA Champions League group stage against "Athletic." The roster includes Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov.

He made his first appearance of the season in the starting lineup during the French championship match against "Rennes" (5-0) last weekend. Additionally, defender Ilya Zabarnyi, who missed the previous game due to illness, has also been included in the squad.

However, PSG’s main goalkeeper this season, Lucas Chevalier, is not listed. It is likely that Safonov will again guard the Parisian club’s goal.

The match between "Athletic" and "PSG" is scheduled for December 10. It will begin at 23:00 Moscow time.
