Barcelona monitoring 17-year-old Egyptian footballer

Egyptian club "Al-Ahli" striker Hamza Abdelkarim might join "Barcelona." This was reported by Diario Sport.

According to the source, "Barcelona" Sporting Director Deco is working on the transfer of Abdelkarim, who stood out with his exceptional performances at the Under-17 World Cup. The player himself has expressed interest in moving to "Barcelona," yet "Al-Ahli" is currently reluctant to release their talented player.

This season, Abdelkarim has appeared in only one match for "Al-Ahli's" first team and did not manage to score. It has also been revealed that in May, Bayern Munich expressed interest in Abdelkarim.
