PSG Goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier Returns to Action

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier has returned to training after recovering from an injury. This was confirmed by the club's head coach, Luis Enrique.

"Chevalier had sustained a minor injury. Now, he has returned and is participating in training as usual," Enrique told RMC Sport in an interview.

In PSG's last two matches, Matvey Safonov was the starting goalkeeper. He first guarded the net in a Ligue 1 match against Rennes, which PSG won 5-0, and then played in a Champions League away match against Athletic Bilbao that ended in a 0-0 draw.

These matches marked Safonov's first appearances for PSG this season. Before that, the Parisian club's goal was exclusively defended by Chevalier.

Regarding Safonov, Luis Enrique remarked, "We have three world-class goalkeepers."
