Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has provided an update on the health of their defender Marquinhos, addressing fans and the broader public. The Brazilian player was substituted after the first half during the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, which ended in a 0–0 draw.
According to the official statement, Marquinhos is currently undergoing treatment due to a muscle strain in his right thigh. Following Matchday 15 of the French league, PSG stands in second place on the Ligue 1 table.
Luis Enrique's team is trailing Lens by just one point. PSG is set to face Metz away on Saturday, December 13, as part of Ligue 1 competition.
