Today, we saw the fruits of that labor. The match was not easy at all, as “Samsunspor” has high-quality and strong players. Nevertheless, we were superior both in duels and in positional play, and we achieved the needed result, — said Nuri Shahin.
For context, it is worth noting that Uzbekistan national team players Abbosbek Fayzullayev and Eldor Shomurodov were included in “Istanbul Başakşehir”'s starting lineup in this match. Eldor Shomurodov was one of the most active players of the game, contributing a goal and an assist, playing a decisive role in his team's victory.
