Rayo Vallecano and Betis Play to a Goalless Draw in Rainy Match


In the 16th round of La Liga, Madrid's Rayo Vallecano hosted Real Betis on their home field. The match, played under the rain, was evenly contested and ended in a goalless 0-0 draw.

Midway through the first half, Isi Palazon's precise free-kick attempt was saved by the Betis goalkeeper. Early in the second half, Betis player Aitor Ruibal took a shot from outside the penalty area, but this time Rayo Vallecano's goalkeeper managed to keep the situation under control.

As a result, neither side managed to score. Following this draw, Betis remains in 6th place in the league standings, while Rayo Vallecano shares the 12th position with several other teams.
