Aitana Bonmati wins FIFA award for third consecutive time


Aitana Bonmatí, midfielder for FC Barcelona and a member of the Spain national team, has once again been recognized at the highest level. FIFA has named Bonmatí the Best Player of 2025.

This accolade marks the Spanish footballer’s third consecutive award. During the 2024/25 season, Bonmatí achieved a complete domestic sweep with Barcelona, winning the league title, the Copa de la Reina, and the Spanish Super Cup.

Internationally, she was highly acclaimed as well: Bonmatí was recognized as the best player in both the UEFA Champions League and Euro 2025.
