Cherchesov Calls Modric a Model of Professionalism

Head coach of “Akhmat,” Stanislav Cherchesov, has shared his thoughts on “Milan” midfielder Luka Modric, expressing his long-standing admiration for the Croatian footballer.

Cherchesov stated that he has been following Modric’s career since the player was 17 years old. “Modric is an exceptional footballer who has not lost his motivation to this day.

Modric is not only a player with unique talent but also a shining example of professionalism,” Cherchesov was quoted as saying by “Sport-Express.” The coach also commented that he was not surprised by how quickly “Milan” fans have come to admire Modric.

The 40-year-old midfielder joined “Milan” as a free agent this summer, leaving Madrid’s “Real” club. In his time with the “Rossoneri,” Modric has played in 17 matches across Serie A and the Italian Cup, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
