Fabio Silva on the verge of joining Real Betis

The negotiations between representatives of Fabio Silva, the forward of Borussia Dortmund, and Spain's Real Betis have made significant progress, according to sky-sport.ch.

According to the source, the Andalusians aim to agree on a deal to loan the 23-year-old Portuguese player during the winter transfer window, with an option to buy. Borussia's management is open to such an arrangement, though certain clauses of the contract still need to be finalized.

Fabio Silva views the prospect of playing in La Liga positively. Previously, the player attracted serious interest from Italy's Roma, but the possibility of the Rome-based club signing him has diminished significantly at the moment.
