Kerragher Explains Why His Comments About Salah Are Not Insults

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher emphasized that his comments on Mohamed Salah’s actions should not be considered an insult. It should be recalled that Carragher previously referred to Salah's criticism of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot as "shameful."

“Was it an insult? No, it was shameful.

I’m not against someone having a different opinion, but that opinion should be backed by evidence,” Carragher was quoted as saying by Goal. According to reports, Salah harshly criticized Slot after being benched for three consecutive matches and hinted he might leave the team after the Africa Cup of Nations.

In response, the coach excluded the Egyptian footballer from the squad for the Champions League match against Inter. Following this, Slot held a disciplinary dialogue with Salah.
