The Transfermarkt portal has published updated market values of players in the Saudi Pro League. According to the latest assessment, the transfer values of several prominent footballers in the league have significantly decreased.
Based on the updated list, the value of five players in total has dropped. Among them are well-known forwards and versatile players familiar from European football. Notably, Mateo Retegui of "Al Qadsiyah" has been valued at 40 million euros, marking a decrease of 5 million euros from his previous valuation.
"Al Hilal" forward Darwin Núñez experienced the largest decrease. His transfer value dropped by 10 million euros, now standing at 35 million euros. Similarly, the team's defender Theo Hernández saw a decrease of 7 million euros, bringing his valuation to 28 million euros.
"Al Ittihad" winger Moussa Diaby's value fell by 2 million euros, now set at 28 million euros. "Al Ahli" player Enzo Le Fee has also joined this group — his valuation dropped by 7 million euros, making it 28 million euros as well.
Meanwhile, the transfer value of "Al Nassr" forward Cristiano Ronaldo remained unchanged. The 40-year-old Portuguese star is currently valued at 12 million euros and is ranked 23rd among the most expensive players in the Saudi Pro League.
Experts believe that factors such as the age of certain players, the characteristics of the league, and overall market dynamics have influenced these decreases. Nevertheless, the Saudi Pro League continues to remain a focal point of attention in global football.
