
At the end of each year, journalists from *The Guardian* publish a ranking of the top 100 football players in the world. On Friday, the top ten of this list was announced.
Ousmane Dembélé secured the top spot in the ranking. Earlier, he had won the Ballon d’Or and was also awarded FIFA Men’s Player of the Year.
Lamine Yamal claimed the second position, while Vitinha completed the top three.
The subsequent positions were occupied by Kylian Mbappé, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, Achraf Hakimi, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, and Pedri. Earlier reports indicated that Lionel Messi ranked 34th on this list, while Cristiano Ronaldo was placed 51st.
