Vincenzo Grifo Sets New Club Record for Freiburg

The final round of the year — Matchweek 15 — is underway in the German Bundesliga. Wolfsburg hosted Freiburg on their home ground and faced a 3-4 defeat.

Among the goals for the visiting side, Vincenzo Grifo was one of the scorers. He converted a penalty in the 56th minute.

This goal marked a milestone for Grifo, as it was his 70th Bundesliga goal. He has now become Freiburg's all-time top scorer in the Bundesliga. In doing so, Grifo surpassed Nils Petersen, who had previously scored 69 goals and held second place.

In the next matchweek, Freiburg will play at home against Hamburg. The game is scheduled for January 10 in the upcoming year.
