Fergana's Neftchi continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season and has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with experienced Brazilian midfielder Ratinho. The parties have signed a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old legionnaire is expected to strengthen the central line, increase the pace of play and add activity to the attack for the Fergana team. The club's management and coaching staff are confident that his experience and versatile playing style will be important for the team.
For information, the player's full name is Jurani Francisco Ferreira. He was born on October 1, 1996 in Cavalcante, Brazil. Ratinho, who began his professional career in 2017 at Arapongas, later played for Itaberal, Itabaiana, and Goias.
In 2019–2020, he played for the South Korean club Guangzhou, and after 2021, he continued his career in Brazil, defending the honor of the Paysandu, Londrina, Botafogo-PB, Retro and Maguire teams. Since 2024, he has been playing for the Samarkand club Dynamo.
Ratinho has played in a total of 22 matches in the Uzbekistan Super League and the country's Cup, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 effective assists. Now he is expected to open a new page with Neftchi and contribute to the team's high goals.
