Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac spoke at a press conference ahead of the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bundesliga Round 16 fixture will kick off on January 9 at 00:30 (Tashkent time). This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
Kovac noted that although the opponent have conceded many goals, they are also effective in attack. According to him, this shows that Eintracht’s frontline is a serious force, and the club has recently added three more forwards to the squad.
The coach emphasized that Borussia must maintain the discipline they have shown in defense so far. He also said the team is working on making better use of the chances they create and that there is still room for improvement in this area.
In Kovac’s view, the match will be decided by small details, and the game is expected to be intense throughout the full 90 minutes. He expressed hope that the final result will go in Borussia’s favor.
At the moment, Eintracht are 7th with 25 points, while Borussia Dortmund have collected 32 points and sit in 2nd place.
