Martin Boakye returns to Andijan, his salary revealed

Andijan officially confirmed one of its key transfers ahead of the new season yesterday — the club announced it has signed a contract with experienced striker Martin Boakye. The “Eagles” appear to be bringing back a player well known to their fans once again, aiming to increase competition and options in attack.
According to reports, Boakye will earn around $400,000 per year with the Andijan side. This figure also shows how much trust the club is placing in the foreign player: Andijan is expecting this deal not just for the name, but for tangible results.
As a reminder, Martin Boakye also played half a season for the “Eagles” in 2021. At that time, he made 13 appearances for Andijan and scored 2 goals. In other words, he is a player who knows the team environment, the club’s demands, and the fans’ mood well.
Before returning to Uzbekistan, Boakye played in the Turkish league for Boluspor. There he featured in 19 matches, recording 3 goals and 2 assists. These numbers indicate the striker still has the drive, experience, and potential to benefit the team.
In short, Andijan aims to strengthen its attack with Boakye, set higher targets in the competition, and make the team even more competitive. Now there is one main question: can Boakye make this comeback memorable with goals and decisive performances? That’s exactly what the fans are waiting for.
