Uzbekistan’s national futsal team, intensively preparing for the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 finals, played another friendly match against Kuwait.
The match was held at the National Teams Center run by the Uzbekistan Football Association. Although it was played behind closed doors, the on-court atmosphere felt like an “official game”: high tempo, tough battles, and clear order and discipline in every episode. In the end, our futsal players sealed a confident 3–1 victory.
Goals for our team were scored by Elbek To‘lqinov, Sunnatilla Jo‘rayev and Ixtiyor Ropiyev. These goals boosted not only the scoreline but also overall confidence, showing the team is heading in the right direction in its preparations.
It has been reported that the national team will continue training in Uzbekistan until January 20. That means several more important camps, tactical work and a competitive “selection” process are still ahead. Because the Asian Cup finals are not a “test” — results are required there.
