In Round 18 of the French league, one of the biggest clashes in Paris took place: PSG hosted Lille and secured a convincing 3–0 win. Luis Enrique’s side left the opponent no chance in either the scoreline or the quality of play.
The standout hero of the match was Ousmane Dembélé. He struck twice to complete a brace. In the closing minutes, substitute Barcola also made his mark, scoring in the 90+3rd minute to further polish PSG’s victory.
The result gave the Parisians a major boost in the standings: Enrique’s team moved to 42 points and climbed to 1st place. Lille stayed 4th with 32 points, dropping valuable points in the race for the top spots.
