Barcelona's management is pleased with Flick, but Arteta and Enrique are under surveillance

Barcelona's management is satisfied with the work style and results of current head coach Hans-Dieter Flick. However, the club's ambitious plans aren't limited to today: the Catalans are also anticipating possible scenarios and exploring who could take the coaching position in the future. This was reported by journalist Alfredo Martinez.
According to the source, the Blaugrana want to continue their partnership with Flick as long as possible. That is, the club is not in a mood to give him up now, on the contrary, there is confidence. But in football, a 100 percent guarantee is not enough: results, internal environment, transfer policy, or personal decisions - all of these can quickly change the situation.
Therefore, Barcelona's management is compiling a list of potential substitutes and identifying the most suitable options. The report states that two prominent figures are cited as ideal candidates to replace Flick in the future: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and PSG manager Luis Enrique.
Interestingly, Flick's current contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2027. Around the same time, the agreements between Arteta and Enrique and their respective clubs are expected to expire. This naturally makes Barcelona's plans even more "real": if for some reason Flick's period stops earlier or at this time, the club wants to play with ready-made options.
Meanwhile, information had previously circulated that Flick wasn't against Ronald Araujo's departure. This fact also shows that decisions regarding the future within the team are directly related not only to tactical issues, but also to personnel policy.
The conclusion is simple: Barcelona is currently satisfied with Flick, but the club always keeps Plan B alongside Plan A. That's what a big club means - they make the result today, and they've calculated tomorrow's step yesterday.
