Grazianni: Juventus must sign a new central striker in January

Former Italy international and World Cup winner Francesco Grazianni has urged Juventus to strengthen their squad with a new forward in the January transfer window. In his view, the Turin side’s attacking line is still far from the required level. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
Grazianni stressed that Juventus must be active on the market and sign at least one strong central forward. In a quote carried by Rai Sport, he noted that neither Loïs Openda nor Jonathan David is an ideal option specifically for Juventus.
According to statistics, Jonathan David has scored two goals and provided one assist in his last three matches, but over the entire season (27 games) he has found the net only five times. Openda, meanwhile, has been limited to two goals in 23 matches.
Grazianni also recalled the “Malen” example: if Juventus had managed to land him, it would have been a top-level transfer, but Roma took the player. According to the legend, without Kenan Yildiz the Turin side look much weaker in attack, and the young footballer should not have to carry that burden alone.
According to the latest information, Juventus are interested in Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. The initial offer was rejected, but negotiations are ongoing.
