Opta supercomputer showed Arsenal almost as champions

The fight for the championship in the English Premier League has reached such a stage that now not only the field but also the numbers are testing both the team's mood and nerves. The Opta supercomputer calculated the championship chances for the end of the current season and named Arsenal as the biggest favorite.
The London team's chances of winning gold medals are estimated at 91.41%. Manchester City is listed as the closest pursuer - 7.09%. Aston Villa (1,36%) was cited as the third "serious contender."
Where does such a large difference come from? Firstly, the Gunners are currently leading the tournament table, and their points standings ahead of their pursuers are also quite helpful: it's being said that City is behind, and even though this gap is still narrowing, it's still working in Arsenal's favor. Secondly, Mikel Arteta's team managed to maintain depth and stability throughout the season - the most expensive currency in supercomputer simulations.
Of course, this forecast is not a verdict. In football, "91%" isn't 100%: a tough calendar ahead, injuries, disqualifications, controversial penalties... in short, a scriptwriter isn't necessary for a "plot twist" - the Premier League itself is enough. However, current calculations show that "Arsenal" is the team closest to the championship, while "City" is forced to achieve maximum results in each round to continue the pursuit.
Moreover, the fight for the top four is also intense: teams like Manchester United can prepare a complete blockbuster for top spots, not a "trailer without money." Therefore, the upcoming rounds will significantly impact both the championship race and European qualifying spots.
If Arsenal maintains this pace - the championship is "almost in hand." If there's just one or two stumbles - Manchester phones start dialing on their own as "cambek." Now everything is simple: every minute in the field is a new argument that will be recorded in the table.
