Guardiola: We're 6 points behind Arsenal, which doesn't mean we've surrendered

The championship race in the English Premier League is heating up - every round has become almost like a final. At that moment, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented on the championship race, acknowledging the difficult situation, but he didn't close the door of hope.

Guardiola emphasized that the Citizens are currently six points behind Arsenal. According to him, this is a big difference, but there is no such thing as "end" in football:

- We are six points behind. This is a serious difference. But anything can happen. Who knows if a 6-point lead is enough for Arsenal to become champions? "We still have 13 matches ahead of us - many things will be decided by these matches," said the coach.

The specialist didn't limit the situation to just the league. He also recalled that for the rest of the season, he will have to play on several fronts simultaneously: cup matches, European cups, a tight schedule, fatigue, and possible injuries - all of this will affect the championship race. Therefore, it was openly stated that reducing the gap would not be easy, but there is also confidence that "it is possible to catch up."

- It will be difficult to reduce the difference. But there are opportunities. We will try to get as close as we can to Arsenal," said the City manager.

The Gunners, led by Mikel Arteta, currently lead the table with 56 points. Manchester City is in second place with 50 points, and Aston Villa is in third place with 47 points.

The conclusion is simple: 6 points - big, but not the decisive "wall." There are 13 rounds ahead, with each win "minus 3," and each loss "plus morale" for the opponent. So, the battle for the championship is just beginning - and if any team declares themselves champions early in this battle, the Premier League will quickly "bring them to their senses."
