Football clubs of Uzbekistan towards privatization, new financial system

An important meeting on the development of sports federations and professional football clubs was held with the participation of the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and the Football Association of Uzbekistan. The main issue at the meeting is one: moving management from "old habits" to a modern model.
During the meeting, the topic of updating the management of sports federations in our country based on a new system and raising the activities of professional clubs to a completely new level was discussed in detail. That is, clubs should be strong not only on the field, but also in offices - this is the current requirement.
In particular, opinions were expressed on expanding the participation of the private sector in the development of the industry, strengthening charitable institutions, and transforming the "finding of sponsors" into a system, not a coincidence. At the same time, issues of phased privatization of clubs and the introduction of new, orderly, and accountable mechanisms in the financial sphere were discussed.
According to the UFA, increasing transparency in club management, strengthening work efficiency, and introducing modern approaches are considered particularly important. Because just as fans need a "beautiful game," they also need a "clean report" behind the club. In short, our football is looking for victory on the field, now it's also looking for order in the economy - and this is the norm.
