At the 77th Strandja International Tournament in Sofia, Uzbek boxers are once again demonstrating their potential, resilience, and readiness to fight for victory. The prestigious tournament in Sofia continues from February 21 to March 2, and representatives of the Uzbekistan national team are actively participating in it.
This time, the attention of the fans was primarily drawn to our compatriot Javokhir Ummataliyev, who entered the ring in the -80 kg weight category. In his second fight, he faced Brazilian Santos Dos Belini. According to the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, despite the opponent's efforts, Javokhir dominated the fight and secured a convincing victory with a score of 4:0. This result showed that he is not only physically, but also mentally prepared at a high level.
Our promising representative in the +90 kg weight category, Arman Makhanov, also played his first match in the competition. He stepped into the ring against England's Damar Thomas.
