At the international tournament "Strandja," our boxers again made a confident move

At the ongoing traditional 77th Strandja International Tournament in Sofia, Uzbek boxers once again presented a day full of victories. International and local sources are also highlighting that the tournament continues in an exciting spirit today, and Uzbek leather glove masters are actively participating in it.

Today's program was opened by Farzona Fozilova, who entered the ring in the -48 kg weight category. He acted accurately, thoroughly, and effectively in an uncompromising and tense match against Turkey's Nurselen Yalgatekin. Our compatriot, who seemed superior in each round, ultimately won favorably and secured a convincing 5:0 victory. This victory became the first joyous result of the day for our team.

Another representative of Uzbekistan in the -48 kg weight category, Sabina Bobokulova, also lived up to the expectations of the fans. Our experienced boxer, who had his first fight against Anel Kudaibergen from Kazakhstan, demonstrated his potential in the very first bout. Sabina showed a meaningful, pressurized, and accurate boxing against her opponent and won with an absolute advantage of 5:0. This result clearly showed that he came to the tournament with serious preparation.

In the -51 kg weight category, Feruza Kazakova entered her third fight in the tournament. She stepped into the ring in the quarterfinal match against German Machi Klotzer, who had defeated Gulsevar Ganieva in the previous round. Feruza once again demonstrated her active, aggressive, and sharp style. She gave her opponent almost no rest, maintaining pressure in every episode, and ultimately secured a decent 4-1 victory. Kazakova's good form in the tournament was evident in previous fights.

Shavkatjon Boltayev, competing in the -70 kg weight category, also competed in his first fight. He faced Brazilian Josiel Lima da Silva. The fight against the technically superior opponent was not easy; the match was fierce and evenly contested. But today in the ring, Shavkatjon looked much more confident, resilient, and stronger. As a result, our compatriot won with a score of 3:2 and advanced to the next stage.

Our representative in the -65 kg weight category, Abdulloh Madaminov, also performed at a high level in the quarter-finals. He became more active, energetic, and precise throughout the entire round in the fight against Irishman Dean Klansy. Abdullah effectively left no serious chance for his opponent and secured a resounding and convincing victory with a score of 5:0. Such a victory was a great impetus not only for the result, but also for the overall mood of the team.

In short, today's first program in the Sofia ring started very successfully for Uzbek boxers. Both our girls and boys demonstrated character, skill, and a thirst for victory in their battles. And now the attention of the fans is focused on the second program of the day - in which a number of our boxers will enter the ring and try to continue their winning streak. Today's start itself shows this: the flag of Uzbekistan can be raised high in Sofia many more times.
