The Madrid side took the lead in the first half. Antonio Rüdiger opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a precise shot. Shortly after, in the 44th minute, Federico Valverde scored the second goal, further strengthening his team's dominance.
In the second half, the "royal club" continued their attacking play. In the 66th minute, Heisen scored once again. In the final minutes of the match, Turkish midfielder Arda Güler scored a superb goal with a beautiful and impressive shot, making the score even bigger.
The visitors' only goal came in the 85th minute. Moran's own goal allowed Elche to score a goal, but this result did not affect the outcome of the match.
With this victory, Real Madrid, led by Arbeloa, reached 66 points, securing a crucial victory in the title race. Elche remains in 17th place in the league table with 26 points.
