The Uzbekistan youth national team in Taekwondo WT has won its second medal at the Tashkent–2026 World Championship. Our representative in the -48 kg weight category, Yosinbek Odilov, took the honorable first place in the competition.
In the final bout, Yosinbek competed against Oman’s representative Dawood Al-Yusufi. The pleasing aspect is that in this confrontation, our compatriot came out on top — 2:0 (5/1, 11/9)!
Yosinbek achieved his best result at the World Championship and won the gold medal. At the moment, the number of our medals stands at 2: 1 gold and 1 silver.
