Porto completes permanent signing of Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior

Portuguese club Porto has signed Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior on a permanent transfer. The Polish footballer spent last season on loan in Portugal, playing a key role in the team's championship success. This is reported by Goal.com reports .

According to official reports, Porto will pay 17 million euros for this transfer. The deal also includes an additional 5 million euros in performance-related bonuses. The total value could reach up to 19 million pounds sterling.

The 26-year-old defender has signed a long-term contract with his new club until June 2030. The contract includes a release clause set at 70 million euros.

Arsenal has retained a 2 million euro sell-on clause should the player be sold to another team in the future. Jakub Kiwior made 38 appearances across all competitions last season, becoming a reliable figure in the defensive line.

Kiwior will now focus his attention on Champions League matches and the new domestic league season with Porto.
