Lothar Matthaus advises Vincent Kompany not to abandon attacking style

German football legend Lothar Matthaus has urged Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany to remain loyal to his attacking philosophy despite their Champions League exit. The Munich side, who lost 6-5 on aggregate to PSG in the semi-finals, were eliminated due to defensive vulnerabilities. This is reported by Goal.com .
According to Matthaus, Bayern have been playing entertaining football this season, and defensive flaws are compensated by their offensive play. He emphasized that in such a high-risk style, it is impossible to defend in every situation, but the team's successes justify it.
In the second leg at the Allianz Arena, Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring, while Harry Kane's goal could not save the team. Nevertheless, Matthaus expressed satisfaction with the team's performance throughout the season, noting that Bayern has regained its intense style of play.
Bayern must now focus on domestic goals. Having already secured the Bundesliga title, Kompany's men are preparing for the upcoming DFB-Pokal final against Stuttgart.
