Toni Kroos advises Bayern management on Konrad Laimer

The contract extension process for Bayern midfielder Konrad Laimer is proving more complicated than expected. Initially viewed as a mere formality, negotiations have stalled due to disagreements over salary. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos addressed his former club on his "Einfach mal Luppen" podcast, emphasizing that key players should not be undervalued. Kroos believes that players who perform the 'dirty work' for the team, even if they don't score 40 goals a season, deserve fair compensation.
According to Sky, the Austrian international wants to increase his current €10 million salary to €15 million. However, Bayern's leadership, specifically Uli Hoeneß, has criticized the player's demands. While the club president values Laimer's work, he stated that he cannot be compared to Maradona and that the club must maintain a strict financial policy.
After signing expensive contracts with stars like Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, and Alphonso Davies, Bayern now aims to avoid yielding to every financial demand. Currently, sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are continuing the negotiations.
