Florentino Pérez comments on the conflict between Valverde and Tchouameni

The altercation between Real Madrid midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni has caused quite a stir within the club. During a press conference, club president Florentino Pérez commented on the situation, emphasizing that such disagreements have occurred before and are part of football. This is reported by Goal.com .
What upset Pérez most was not the fight itself, but the fact that the information leaked to the press. According to him, players can resolve their differences, but internal club matters becoming public damages the team's reputation. The president added that they have identified who leaked the information.
As a result of the clash, Federico Valverde suffered a head injury and was hospitalized. Club doctors diagnosed him with a concussion, and the player was ordered to rest for 10–14 days.
Aurélien Tchouameni apologized for the incident, acknowledging that such behavior is unacceptable at a world-renowned club like Real Madrid. Following an internal investigation, the club management fined both players €500,000 and declared the disciplinary case closed.
