Valverde described the head injury that led to his hospital visit as an accidental incident. According to him, emotions within the team have been heightened due to fatigue and poor results at the end of the season, but this situation has been misinterpreted by external sources.
"There was a disagreement with a teammate during training, but it was just a normal argument. I had to go to the hospital because I hit my head on a table, but it was not the result of a fight," Valverde wrote on social media.
The player expressed regret that such rumors are damaging the team's reputation during a difficult season for Real Madrid. He added that all internal disagreements are left on the pitch and that he will continue to give his all for the club.
