Nottingham Forest in search of a new head coach: Marco Silva in the sights

Despite inconsistency this season, Premier League side Nottingham Forest may look to change their head coach once again during the summer transfer window. Club owner Evangelos Marinakis aims to bring Fulham manager Marco Silva to the team, according to Goal.com reports.

The relationship between Marinakis and Silva dates back to their successful collaboration at Olympiacos in 2016. At that time, Silva won the Greek championship and set a European record. The Nottingham Forest board believes this experience and tactical stability will take the team to the next level.

However, the battle for the Portuguese specialist will not be easy. Chelsea has also added Silva to their list of candidates to strengthen their coaching staff. Additionally, with Jose Mourinho expected to return to Real Madrid, Benfica is also looking for a new head coach, and Silva is on their radar as well.

Nottingham Forest has already changed four managers this season. Nevertheless, the club owner is ready to take another risk to solidify the team's position in the Premier League. Fulham, for its part, is reluctant to let go of their successful manager.
