Antonio Rüdiger to stay at Real Madrid

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Antonio Rüdiger has agreed to extend his contract with Real Madrid. The German national team defender has accepted the club's policy of one-year extensions for veteran players. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
Initially, the player aimed to sign a two-year deal, but the club management did not waive its rule of offering only one-season contracts to players over 30. As a result, Rüdiger had to soften his demands.
The previous season was difficult for the defender due to physical issues. He underwent surgery due to persistent pain and recovered with the help of specialists in London. He currently feels well and is performing consistently on the pitch.
Having arrived as a free agent from Chelsea in 2022, Rüdiger quickly became a key defender in Carlo Ancelotti's team. Despite lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, he aims to continue his career at Real Madrid and win new trophies.
