Spanish club Barcelona has agreed on personal terms with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. Head coach Hansi Flick considers the English player a key part of his attacking plans and has asked the board to prioritize this transfer. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
According to reports, Rashford has agreed to a salary reduction and a long-term contract to fit the club's financial constraints due to his desire to stay in Catalonia. Hansi Flick prefers the experienced Rashford over younger alternatives, which has increased the Blaugrana board's activity in negotiations.
Manchester United continues to demand a €30 million transfer fee for the player. The Premier League representatives do not intend to extend the loan and are insisting on a permanent sale. However, Rashford's lack of desire to return to Old Trafford and his rejection of other offers are complicating the Manchester club's position.
Barcelona is currently considering a new transfer formula. Under this plan, the player could be loaned for another season with a mandatory purchase clause in 2027. This method would allow the Catalans to complete the transfer without violating Financial Fair Play rules.
