Gary Neville accuses Tottenham players of disgrace

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has heavily criticized Tottenham, a team that fought for survival in the current Premier League season. Although a 1-0 victory over Everton in the final round allowed the team to remain in the top flight, Neville called the club's overall performance "pathetic." He believes a club with such resources should be ashamed of coming so close to relegation. This is reported by Goal.com .
In an interview with Sky Sports, Neville emphasized that Tottenham has fallen to a level that does not match its rich traditions. "Calling them pathetic is not an exaggeration. Even though they won the Europa League last year, the team has been performing well below its level in the domestic league for the past two years. This is a new low for the club," said the former defender.
The expert also mocked the players' passion on the pitch and their attitude towards the club's motto. Referring to Tottenham's famous motto "To dare is to do," Neville said that the current squad lacks both courage and team unity. According to him, many players are not worthy of wearing the shirt.
Neville also blamed the club's management for chaotic leadership. After Ange Postecoglou left, the short tenures of managers like Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor deepened the crisis at the club. Neville believes the owners are looking to sell the club and have focused on infrastructure, but have disappointed fans with results on the pitch.
