Barcelona must pay 20 million euros for the new Neymar

FC Barcelona continues its search for the future stars of world football, with scouts once again turning their attention to the Brazilian market. The Catalan giants have added a new South American talent to their transfer list, according to Goal.com reports.

16-year-old Gabriel Veneno, a member of the Atletico Mineiro youth team, has caught the eye of Barcelona sporting director Deco. Due to his technical skills and playing style, he is already being dubbed the "new Neymar." The right winger impressed scouts from many European clubs after shining in the prestigious Copinha tournament earlier this year.

According to AS, Atletico Mineiro is demanding approximately 20 million euros plus add-ons for their academy product. This is a significant price tag for a player who has yet to make his senior team debut.

Barcelona's management is finding it difficult to make a decision regarding this transfer. On one hand, there are the club's financial constraints, and on the other, Gabriel Veneno plays in the exact same position as Lamine Yamal. Consequently, the club is carefully analyzing whether to sign a competitor for the young star.
