Samir Nasri will not attend Champions League final due to PSG fans

Former Arsenal star Samir Nasri has refused to participate in the Champions League final broadcast between PSG and Arsenal in Budapest. The former midfielder decided to leave the pitch-side commentary team after being heavily insulted by the Parisian club's ultras during the semi-final match in Munich. This is reported by Goal.com reports .
According to Le Parisien, Canal+ had initially accredited Nasri for the final, but his name was later removed from the updated list submitted to UEFA. PSG fans view Nasri as a former player of their bitter rivals Marseille, and this rivalry created a hostile atmosphere for him at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
During the semi-final, fans cheered for former PSG member David Ginola while incessantly insulting Nasri. The situation went beyond sporting rivalry: fans used megaphones to shout "pay your taxes" at him. This refers to the high-profile legal proceedings regarding Samir Nasri's residency status in Dubai and his tax debts in France.
According to reports, French tax authorities are demanding 5.5 million euros from Nasri. Investigators even cited 212 food orders delivered to Paris via the Deliveroo app as evidence to prove he lived in France. Although Nasri's lawyers deny these allegations, the topic has become a primary weapon for stadium provocations.
The 38-year-old pundit will not disappear from the airwaves entirely on final day. Although he decided not to travel to the stadium in Budapest, he will participate in an analytical show alongside Mickael Landreau in the Paris studio after the game. Thus, he will share his thoughts in a safe environment, away from aggressive fans.
