Sigurdsson explains why he is supporting PSG in the final

Former Iceland national team player Ragnar Sigurdsson, who also played for Krasnodar, shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League final. He did not hide that he is supporting the Parisians in today's match, May 30, between PSG and Arsenal in Budapest.

Sigurdsson noted that Arsenal's style of play does not spark much interest in him. He even claimed that watching the London club's matches makes him "sleepy." This statement is sure to spark discussion among fans ahead of the final.

As the main reason for supporting PSG, he pointed to Luis Enrique's football philosophy. The former Icelandic defender praised the Spanish manager for building a team-oriented game, maintaining balance between attack and defense, and his ability to make all players work at full capacity in defense.

"Arsenal's games make me sleepy. The main reason I'm supporting PSG is Luis Enrique's football style and his ability to force all his players to work at 100 percent in defense," said Sigurdsson.

Recall that PSG is the reigning Champions League winner. The Parisians will attempt to defend their title in the final, while Arsenal has taken the pitch for one of the most important European cup victories in their history.

In short, Ragnar Sigurdsson openly stated he will support PSG in the final and specifically praised Luis Enrique's style. Now it remains to be seen who is right on the pitch: will the Parisians' intense football prevail, or will Arsenal answer the critics with the trophy?
