Steam has introduced a new feature to protect users from abandoned early access games. Now, projects that haven’t been updated for a long time will receive a special warning label, informing players about the lack of developer activity.
If a game hasn't received updates for over a year, its page will display the following message: “Last update released on [date]. Developer information may be outdated.” Developers still have the option to provide explanations for delays.
This update aims to improve Steam’s catalog quality and encourage transparency. Players can now quickly identify abandoned projects without relying on reviews or forums. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
