Snapdragon X Elite laptops struggle in the European market

Laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite have failed to gain popularity in Europe. According to the analytics firm Context, Copilot+PC laptops accounted for only 5% of all notebooks sold in Q4 2024.

Meanwhile, the overall demand for AI-powered laptops is growing—almost every second laptop sold in Europe comes with a built-in NPU. However, interest in the Copilot+PC brand remains low.

Microsoft and Qualcomm compared Copilot+PC laptops to the MacBook M3, promising top-tier performance and exceptional battery life. However, consumers remained indifferent.

Experts cite three main reasons:
1) Distrust in the Copilot brand
2) Performance issues
3) High price
