On February 8, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 set a new record on Steam, reaching 230,000 concurrent players. However, just a day later, that record was already surpassed.
The new peak now stands at 252,490 simultaneous players. There’s a strong possibility that this number could rise even further over the weekend or in the coming week.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 achieved this milestone in less than a week since its release on February 4. The absence of major competitors in February played in its favor. Warhorse Studios’ head, Daniel Vávra, previously mentioned that the sequel’s release date was moved to February 4 to avoid clashing with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which was ultimately postponed to March.
Additionally, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 surpassed one million copies sold on its first day. It’s likely that the developers will soon announce hitting the two-million mark.
