General Motors (GM) is actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its vehicle development, production, and customer service strategies.
To lead this initiative, GM has hired 49-year-old Barak Turovsky, who previously headed AI divisions at Cisco and worked in Google’s technology department.
According to Dave Richardson, Senior Vice President at GM, AI will play a central role in the future of electric vehicles, internal combustion cars, and autonomous driving systems. He emphasized that Turovsky’s experience will accelerate GM’s AI development.
Currently, GM uses AI for:
- Determining the best locations for EV charging stations
-Optimizing vehicle orders for dealers
- Enhancing manufacturing processes
Turovsky will join GM’s software and services division to drive the company’s AI strategy forward. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
