Apple is making design changes to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, reported pepelac.news. The new model will be 0.475 mm thicker than its predecessor, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, reaching 8.725 mm. This change is aimed at increasing battery capacity, while other design elements remain unchanged.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to retain its large rectangular camera module with rounded corners and the usual sensor placement on the back. Unlike previous Pro models with a titanium frame, the new version will feature an aluminum frame and a combination of aluminum and glass.
Moreover, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have the same dimensions as the new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, except for the difference in thickness.
