Telegram, xAI strike $300M deal for Grok integration
This summer, Telegram will launch Grok — an AI chatbot developed by Elon Musk’s company xAI, reports Kursiv citing Telegram founder Pavel Durov.
Durov said he and Musk agreed to a one-year partnership. Grok will be integrated into all versions of Telegram and available to all users.
The deal will generate revenue for Telegram. According to Durov, the company will receive $300 million from xAI — partially in cash and partially in shares. Additionally, Telegram will earn 50% of all subscription revenue from Grok made through the app.
