Uzbek and Russian drone operators train together in Termez
Uzbek and Russian military drone operators practiced strikes on armored vehicles during the “Hamkorlik-2025” joint exercises at the Termez training ground, reported Kursiv citing TASS.

During the maneuvers, the troops used various types of drones, including FPV drones. Russian forces also deployed a robotic system designed for delivering supplies and evacuating simulated wounded personnel.

Earlier this July, Uzbekistan launched a special drone training complex to prepare its border troops. The system enables soldiers to train for various drone operation scenarios.

In 2023, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was presented with the UAVs in service with the Uzbek army, including Turkey’s Bayraktar TB2 and China’s Wing Loong.
