Snapchat announces new “Home Safe” feature

Snapchat introduced a new feature called "Home Safe," allowing users to notify friends and family when they’ve safely made it home. The feature received positive feedback.

To use the feature, users must set their home location on Snap Map. Then, once they arrive home, they can tap the "Home Safe" button to send a notification.

Once the user arrives home, their friend will receive an automatic notification. However, the alert is only sent to friends with whom location sharing has already been enabled.
