An important decision has been made in Uzbekistan aimed at fundamentally reforming the football sector and digitalizing it in line with modern requirements. According to the Ministry of Justice, a “National Football Electronic Platform” will be created in the country.
The decree clearly defines the main objectives: bringing the material and technical base in line with international standards, constructing new football fields, increasing the number of people regularly engaged in sports, and most importantly, fully digitalizing the system for selecting talented youth and preparing them as professional football players.
Through the new platform, a fundamentally new approach will be introduced into the football sector. In particular, starting from January 1, 2026, it will be possible to observe the training sessions of football academies and schools online. In addition, players’ medical indicators, physical condition, and selection processes will be monitored electronically. This will make it possible to identify talents early and continuously monitor their development.
Moreover, starting from March 1, 2026, the ticket purchasing procedure for football matches will also undergo fundamental changes. Tickets will be purchased through a special information system using personal identification and QR code technologies. According to officials, this system will ensure not only transparency and security but also convenience for fans.
Experts believe that the “National Football Electronic Platform” may create a modern management system for football and take Uzbek football to a new stage. Because now the activities of each player and team will be transparently tracked, while statistical data will be collected and analyzed in real time.
Undoubtedly, this initiative is expected to mark a new era in Uzbek football.
