YouTube introduces new AI tools for Shorts creators

YouTube has announced new generative AI tools aimed at Shorts creators, TechCrunch reported.

Among the tools is “Dream Screen,” which allows users to generate video backgrounds from text prompts. For instance, creators can request scenes like “a panda flying on the moon” or “sharks walking in a glass hallway.”

YouTube also plans to introduce AI-powered tools for editing, idea generation, and content recommendations. The features will gradually roll out by the end of 2024.
